Kate Deighton

Founder

Kate was Team Leader at Kids Company for three years in different East London state schools, collaborating with therapists, promoting health learning and emotional development through play therapy.
After completing a course in therapeutic communications with the Metropolitan University, Kate helped set up mentoring programmes, advocating for young people and safeguarding vulnerable children alongside social services.
Kate then helped the Startlight's Children's Foundation, with their biggest ever fundraiser.

TimeGivers embodies Kate's exceptional skills as a connector and motivator, and underlines her passion for working with children and the charity sector. Through TimeGivers, Kate promotes intergenerational connection, raising awareness of the impact of volunteering and instilling the values of kindness and the sense of joy and purpose that this can bring, within the caregivers of the future.
